Authorizing for management modules

Feedback

SuperMap iPortal provides management module authorization to support setting up various custom management roles that can be granted different portal administrative privileges. So as to enable managers of different roles to perform their duties and jointly manage the GIS portal system.

To log in as a portal administrator portal Home -> Administration -> Security -> role management, enter the role management page:

  1. Add roles

iPortal only supports administrative module authorization for newly added roles.

  1. Click "Add Roles", and in the Add New Role dialog box, enter the following information:
  1. Select one or more users in the list of selected users, click the Add button to associate the user with the current role. If you have not registered or created a new user, you can register or create a user, and then associated
  2. Select one or more user group in the list of selected users, click the Add button to associate the user with the current role. If you have not registered or created a new user, you can create a user, and then associated
  3. Click the "OK" button to add this role
  1. Management module authorization

In the list of roles, you will see "Module Authorization" after the newly added role will be displayed. Click "Module Authorization". The "Module Authorization" tab will pop up. The module will display the same page as the management interface navigation bar. Click on the module name. You can expand all the sub-modules under the module, grant the module permission to the role through the "tick", and click the "OK" button to complete the module authorization.

  1. Use administrative privileges

After the management module is authorized, the user who associates the role can have the corresponding administrative authority. When the authorized user logs in to the iPortal portal, the "Management" module is displayed on the home page. Click "Manage" to enter the management interface. The management interface will display all the management modules that the current user has administrative privileges. The module without administrative privileges will not be displayed. For example, if the user has permission to the resource management module, he will be able to manage all the resources in the portal.

If you want to manage the portal resources and users in sub-sector by organizational structure, see:Configuration and use of organizational structure.

note

Only the portal administrator can manage the module and create the user, the other administrator even if the corresponding module permissions are granted, can not do this.
