SuperMap iPortal provides 32-bit and 64-bit zip package for users using on Windows system. For Windows x64 system it also provides complete zip package and deploy version of the zip distribution package, where the deploy distribution package does not contain sample code\data, help documents and client development kit.
After the SuperMap iPortal's complete zip package product is completed to be normally unzipped, the target machine should have the following contents:
bin Folder: Start, stop Tomcat service, as well as other relevant script files, start the service from startup. bat under Windows .
conf Folder: Store the Tomcat's configuration files and related documents type definition.
docs Folder: Store SuperMap iPortal's help documents and ebooks.
iClient Folder: Store SuperMap iPortal's client, including tool library of each development platform, sample code etc. contents, such as forJavaScript, forFlash, forDotNET and so on.
lib Folder: Store the jar files required for Tomcat.
license Folder: Store the license agreement and statement of open source libraries used for SuperMap iPortal .
logs Folder: Store the log information in the process of starting, running SuperMap iPortal and Tomcat.
samples Folder: Store SuperMap iPortal's demonstration program.
support Folder: Store JRE , license configuration tool and iPortal version update tool.
temp Folder: The location of the storing temporary files in the process of running Tomcat.
webapps Folder: SuperMap iPortal deployment folder, in which the iPortal folder stores the jar files, configuration files and other information SuperMap iPortal depends on .
license.txt/license_en.txt File: SuperMap iPortal user license agreement document.
readme.txt/readme_en.txt File: Readme file associated with installing the product and starting the service, the user can install and start the service accordingly.
SuperMap_iPortal_10i_Readme_Windows_CHS/ENG.pdf File: SuperMap iPortal readme file.
BUILD_* File: SuperMap iPortal version(identified by the * content).
Other documents are Tomcat's licensing information, statements, etc.
Ater the SuperMap iPortal's 64-bit support（for Linux） is completed to execute tar -zxvf *.tar.gz command to be normally unzipped, supermap_iportal_*_linux64 folder is obtained, the specific content please see zip package for Windows, where the readme file's name is SuperMap_iPortal_10i_Readme_Linux_CHS.pdf.
